OUR PROCESS
CONSULTATION
The purpose of our consultation is to get to know our client, their needs and wants and the space itself. During our consultation we will go over a series of questions to better understand the project and the client’s style. The consultation will take place in the client’s residential or commercial space and is a two hour process depending on the depth of the project.
CONCEPT PLANNING
During this stage we prepare ideas to blend the functionality and style of each space. Mood boards, space planning and colour schemes are presented to ensure both the client and designer are committed to the same design direction.
DESIGN AND PRESENTATION
Once we have a clear design direction we get started on the details! We will prepare detailed drawings, elevations and plans, electrical & lighting plans, cabinetry design, millwork design, custom furniture design and an overview of the selected finishes. Samples of finishes will be organized by room to give the client a clear understanding of how each finish works together to create the overall look and feel of the space.
PROJECT BUDGETING
Budget is one of our top priorities. A space can be transformed in multiple budgets, but staying on budget throughout the process can often be challenging for a client. We pride ourselves on being financially conscious throughout your project keeping you within budget and offering options that work within your budget. Any additions to the budget are discussed with the client and approved by them.
ON SITE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
To ensure a seamless finished product, communication is a requirement between all divisions of the project. Divisions include the design, construction and delivery/installations. We offer management of the above divisions by regular onsite visits, weekly/biweekly communication with trades and suppliers as well as facilitating all of the deliveries. We also provide frequent communication with the client to keep them updated on the progress and aware of any issues that may arise that will need their approval first.
DECORATING
Have a space that needs a refresh? We offer decorating services that includes space planning, colour schemes, furnishings and finishes to update any space! Alongside the presentation, we offer organization of trades, orders, deliveries and day of installation.
